Canada, Montreal, Place Du Canada

While it was raining carzily, canadians celebrated Canada Day in Montreal.

Nice one! If you were looking for me instead of taking photos, we would have found each other. I like the way he is wearing the whole flag. Did you see the Turkish truck? There was a big group of Turks with Turkish flags and traditional cloths and loud Turkish music. I also also a crazy woman who was carrying Iran's flag with Shir-Khorshid on it. I took a photo of her which I will post later.

Oh, before I forget, tomorrow, Saturday 3rd, there is Carafiesta on René-Lévesque. This is the big Carabian carnival which is worth watching. We will let you when we are going, so we can try not to find each other again :-) (Are we stupid or what?)

Yes, one of my colleagues told me about Saturday’s parade. I didn't find anything on the web. Maybe I didn't search enough.
Did we go to see them last year?

I think we missed it last year, I don't remember well ... *thinking* ... yep! I guess we missed it last year. We were with Saman and Atusa last year and I don't remember being in any Carifiesta with them. Soheila and I had seen the festival before though. It is a good one, with a lot of "Garmameh", "Akh pacheh'am", "Gher bedeh baalah bendaaz" and finally "Invar oonvaresh nandaaz bezaa negaash konam". All of this is to let Farbod know what he is missing of course. Empty all your Flash Cards and be ready for taking a lot of pictures.

Me again ... I mis-spelled the name of the festival the first time. Try Carifiesta instead of Carafiesta and you will find some information on the net. Not a lot of data, but there are some links for this festival on the Internet.

Don't worry Farbod, I'll take photos as much as I can, just for YOU!
